While Tanaka confirmed Vita’s consideration, he said that there are no solid plans to port the game, at the moment.

If you spell Leon backwards its Noel, also the resemblance is uncanny.

Final Fantasy HD Collection - Will Consider Making It If Demand Is High Enough

Asked at E3 if the company would ever release a HD Final Fantasy collection, akinThe Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection, series producer Yoshinori Kitase said the company would “seriously consider it” if the demand were high enough.
“We haven’t made up our mind about that yet,” said Kitase, speaking with Xbox 360 Achievements, “but if there was a strong voice coming through from the users asking for such porting, then obviously we would seriously consider it, but no actual plans yet.”

Final Fantasy XIII Has Sold Over 6 Million Copies

Final Fantasy XIII has shifted over 6 million units since its December 2010 Japanese release, producer Yoshinori Kitase has revealed. This “commercial success” is what led them to create Final Fantasy XIII-2, rather than a new numbered title, he told X360A during E3.
“If we were going to make a numbered title, obviously we’d have to make it from scratch, and that takes a really long time,” said Kitase. “Final Fantasy XIII only came out in March of last year, so literally only over a year, so it’s quite a short turnaround. Because Final Fantasy XIII has been so popular, we’ve also enjoyed commercial success – shifting over 6 million copies – so instead of taking a long time to make a new Final Fantasy title, we wanted to make a direct sequel.”
Final Fantasy XIII-2, announced this January, launches December 2011 in Japan and early 2012 in North America and Europe.

Final Fantasy PSP Games May Get PS3 Remasters Collection

Final Fantasy producer Yoshinori Kitase is interested in bringing Square’s best PSP titles to Sony’s recently announced PSP Remaster lineup of PlayStation 3 titles, which takes the greatest PSP games and upgrades them to suit the big screen.
Speaking to Dengeki PlayStation, Kitase and Final Fantasy director Motomu Toriyama specifically mentioned Dissidia: Final Fantasy and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.
Toriyama said that that the two titles are currently in a “blank slate,” which means they’ve yet to make any official decisions regarding a Remaster.

Final Fantasy Type 0 Might Not Get A Western Release

Despite Square Enix preparing Final Fantasy Type-0 for a release in Japan this summer, the Japanese publisher has said absolutely nothing about a release outside of Japan. And recent comments from Yoshinori Kitase, the game's producer, do little to comfort fears that it may never release outside of Japan.

"As you may know very well, with the PSP market, the situation is very different in Japan than outside of Japan," said Kitase when speaking to us at E3 2011. "We are having to be very very careful in how we decide what would be the best way to deliver the game to all the gamers."

Kitase then went on to ask Western gamers for patience as they look for a resolution, "At the moment I can't give you any confirmed decision, so please be patient for a little bit longer."

While Kitase doesn't outright confirm that it won't get released, his comments about the differing PSP markets are concerning. They could still release it as a PSN title though.
